In 2021, FPES Australia will celebrate 25 years of delivering high quality pre-employment screening and post-injury management across Australia.
Starting with just one client in 1996, FPES has grown to provide services to over 100 clients throughout Australia. FPES’s national network of over 500 providers have helped to complete over 600,000 advanced musculoskeletal assessments, while supporting return to work plans for some of the biggest organisations in Australia.
So how has FPES grown to have continued success over the years?
Built on the philosophy of sports medicine, the company has embraced change both from a scientific and medical standpoint, which Director Dr Martin Raftery explains is a gamechanger for the business and the industry.
“In both the pre-employment and post-injury divisions of our business we have adopted sports medicine philosophies and adapted these to prevent and manage work-related injuries. Since our inception, we have managed over 600,000 pre-employment screens and processed over 50,000 injured workers. Our post-injury program has led to 98.2% of referred injured workers avoiding time loss in the workplace.”
The adoption of technology has also been a major catalyst in ensuring efficient business operations, shifting from manual procedures to utilising state-of-the-art digital programs. This is no more evident than in our Medequest® system, an online, web-based alternative to conventional methods of screening
Medequest® provides zero wait times for appointments and instantaneous results, delivering on the needs of the most discerning and cost responsive employers. This provides a cutting-edge dimension to staff recruitment by underpinning the decision-making process in a non-discriminatory manner.
FPES continues to lead the way in innovative pre-employment and early intervention programs, resulting in continued reduced workers compensation costs for our clients. We pride ourselves on listening to the needs of each individual client and tailoring our programs to fit efficiently within each organisation.
